Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (TMEDI) founded on October 18th, 1949, is one of the first group of municipal engineering consultants founded up following the establishment of People’s Republic of China. Meanwhile, as a national high-tech enterprise, TMEDI becomes one of the domestic municipal engineering consultants with the most comprehensive specialties.
As a Comprehensive National Grade A Consultant, TMEDI has obtained:
Integrated Qualification Grade-A for Engineering Design,
Integrated Qualification Grade-A for Engineering Consultation,
Inegrated Qualification Grade-A for Geotechnical Investigation,
Grade-A for Topographic Survey,
Grade-A for Urban and Rural Planning.
All of which are the highest qualification in China. In addition, TMEDI also has the Grade-A for Engineering Supervision, Design Permit of Special Equipment (Pressure Pipe), and CMA (China Metrology Accreditation) of Inspection & Testing Qualification. On the basis of the above qualifications, TMEDI established a National Technology Center, gained the Business Permit of Oversea Projects authorized by The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), and now becomes one of the Project Management Companies for China-Aid Projects.
